The Boston Bruins and New York Islanders will face off in the second round of the 2021 NHL Playoffs starting Saturday, May 29. The league announced the first two games on the schedule and will announce the rest once the full second round bracket is complete. UPDATE: The NHL has updated the second round schedule.

The third-seeded Bruins and fourth-seeded Islanders both sprung first round upsets to advance to this point. The Bruins beat the Capitals in five games, rolling them the last two after a fairly tense first two games. The Islanders fell behind 2-1 to Pittsburgh but won three straight to close out the series.

Boston is favored in this series, installed by DraftKings Sportsbook at -230 to win the series while New York is +180. For exact series outcome odds, all four Bruins outcomes have the best odds, with Bruins in five installed at +350. The best odds for an Islanders win are New York in six at +700.
