The Colorado Avalanche and Vegas Golden Knights will face off in the second round of the 2021 NHL Playoffs starting Sunday, May 30. The league announced the first two games on the schedule and will announce the rest once the full second round bracket is complete. UPDATE: The NHL has updated the second round schedule.

The Avs and Knights finished the regular season tied for the best record in the league. Colorado got the tiebreaker edge and thus has home ice advantage in this series. Colorado swept St. Louis to advance out of the first round, while Vegas was taken to seven games by Minnesota.

Colorado is favored in this series, installed by DraftKings Sportsbook at -200 to win the series while Vegas is +160. For exact series outcome odds, Avs in five is teh favorite at +400, followed by Avs in six at +435 and Avs in seven at +475. The Golden Knights winning outcome with the best odds is in six at +650.
