The lightweight division will be in the spotlight on Saturday, May 29 when Devin Haney defends his WBC lightweight title against former three-division champ Jorge Linares. Ring walks are expected sometime around 11:15 p.m. ET for the main event and will air via live stream on DAZN.

The card for this fight gets underway at 8 p.m. and while it is not packed with big fights, there are a couple interesting ones for fight fans to keep an eye on. Along with Haney’s lightweight title, the WBC women’s junior welterweight title is on the line and the IBF junior lightweight division will have an eliminator matchup.

Chantelle Cameron will defend her WBC junior welterweight title against Melissa Hernandez. Cameron is 13-0 and coming off a unanimous decision over Adriana dos Santos Araujo last October. Hernandez is 23-7-3 and has not fought since a unanimous decision win over Selina Barrios in April 2019. Prior to that she had not fought since 2016.

Martin J. Ward and Azinga Fuzile will face off with the winner likely securing an IBF junior lightweight title shot. Shavkat Rakhimov and Kenichi Ogawa will face off for the vacant IBF junior lightweight title in July, and the winner of Ward-Fuzile would likely become the mandatory for the Rakhimov-Ogawa winner.

If you’re just looking for a name, middleweight Shane Mosley Jr. — son of the three-division champ — will face off against one-time WBC-NABF champ Jason Quigley.
