The San Antonio Spurs can further solidify their spot in the play-in tournament when they head on the road to take on the Utah Jazz on Monday night. San Antonio is currently the No. 10 seed in the Western Conference with a 31-32 record, 2.5 games ahead of the New Orleans Hornets. Meanwhile, the Jazz are tied with the Phoenix Suns for the best record in the NBA.
Utah’s third leading scorer Mike Conley missed each of the last three games with a hamstring injury and is questionable to return to the lineup. For the Spurs, their second leading scorer Dejounte Murray did not play in Sunday’s game with a knee injury. He is questionable for Monday night.
Spurs vs. Jazz, 10:00 p.m. ET, NBA League Pass
Pick ATS: Jazz -6.5
This is a terrible betting spot for the Spurs, who have lost three straight games and went to overtime in three of their last four. This is their third game in the past four nights, they’re coming off a home overtime loss to the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Jazz had a rest day on Sunday and didn’t even have to travel with their last game being at home on Saturday. Check the injury reports to see whether Murray or Conley will suit up, but too many things are going in Utah’s direction, so let’s go with them to cover the spread.
Player Prop: TBD
