Dallas Mavericks v Los Angeles Clippers - Game Two

There are four games to close out the weekend on Sunday in the first round of the 2021 NBA Playoffs. On Saturday, the Milwaukee Bucks closed out a four-game sweep of the Miami Heat with a 120-103 victory. The Portland Trail Blazers also blew out the Denver Nuggets to even their first-round series at 2-2 heading back to Denver.

The New York Knicks fell to the Atlanta Hawks in Game 3 to move the series to 2-1 in favor of ATL. Julius Randle continues to struggle for New York after having an All-Star season. He’s shooting 24 percent from the floor but does have three straight double-doubles. The Knicks will need Randle to figure it out in order to stay in this series. The Hawks really just need to knock down shots to advance. ATL enters Sunday as 5-point favorites at home.

The Suns-Lakers series took a big turn after Game 1. The Lakers have rolled in two straight and are up 2-1 in the series. LA can look to take a commanding 3-1 lead at home on Sunday afternoon. Anthony Davis and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are both “questionable” to play, well the quotations work for AD. Davis already said there’s no way he isn’t going to play in this game despite a knee sprain. KCP has a quad injury and may be held out. The Lakers are 6.5-point favorites.

The Boston Celtics needed a historic game from Jayson Tatum and near perfect shooting from Marcus Smart and Evan Fournier in order to beat the Brooklyn Nets by 6 at home. The series is 2-1 and we should expect a response from Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden in Game 4 on Sunday. Brooklyn is still favored by 7.0 points on the road.

The Dallas Mavericks dropped Game 3 at home after winning two straight. Luka Doncic had 44 points in the loss and is dealing with a cervical strain that has him questionable for Game 4 on Sunday. If Doncic is out, it gives Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers a great chance to even the series heading back to LA. The Clips are narrow favorites at 3.5 points for Sunday.

For both games, if you don’t have a cable login, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the games.
