The Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants headline Sunday’s afternoon slate of MLB action, with the contending St. Louis Cardinals and Oakland Athletics also in action. With Clayton Kershaw in action for Los Angeles, it’s unlikely any Giants players will feature in the afternoon’s best DFS stacks.
Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.
Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the featured MLB slate on DraftKings on Sunday, May 30th.
St. Louis Cardinals vs. Arizona Diamondbacks, 4:10 PM ET
Nolan Arenado, $5,500
Paul Goldschmidt, $4,100
Tommy Edman, $5,300
D-Backs starting pitcher Matt Peacock has a 4.91 ERA, meaning the Cardinals should have some opportunities to put runs on the board. Arenado and Goldschmidt are known commodities with the bat and Edman’s hot start to the season is something to capitalize on here.
Los Angeles Dodgers vs. San Francisco Giants, 4:10 PM ET
Max Muncy, $5,400
Chris Taylor, $4,500
Justin Turner, $4,900
Kershaw is likely to shut down San Francisco’s lineup, but the Dodgers have plenty of offense to back their ace even if the Giants put some runs on the board. Muncy leads the team in home runs and Taylor is a consistent presence in the lineup. Turner has been good to start the season as well, making this trio appealing against the Giants.
Seattle Mariners vs. Texas Rangers, 4:10 PM ET
Mitch Haniger, $5,200
Kyle Seager, $4,100
Kyle Lewis, $3,500
The Rangers are on a five-game losing streak and will send pitcher Hyeon-Jong Yan, who has a 5.47 ERA, to the mound against the Mariners. Haniger and Seager are big bats in Seattle’s lineup and Lewis has averaged 9.5 FPPG in six meetings against Texas.
