Memorial Day weekend is here, and so is the final episode of the show that has been a gift to the new HBO Max service, Mare of Easttown.
The story of the murder of a teenage mother in suburban Philadelphia, and the flawed former high school basketball star and detective charged with investigating who did it, comes to its conclusion this evening. The single-season run has been a hit for HBO, but this is scheduled to be the final episode unless a second season is put into production. And yes, HBO has done that before.
You can watch the finale of Mare of Easttown on HBO on Sunday, May 30th at 10:00 p.m. ET, or you can stream it via HBO Max just a few minutes after the show begins airing.
