We have another full 15-game slate in the majors on Tuesday, which means there are still multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 14 games starting at 7:05 p.m. ET.
Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.
Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Tuesday, June 1st.
Rangers vs. Rockies, 8:40 p.m. ET
Ryan McMcMahon ($5,700)
Raimel Tapia ($4,900)
C.J. Cron ($4,800)
Last week, we created a couple of DFS team stacks using the Texas Rangers, which did not workout in our favor. Texas ran up against some formidable starting pitching in a four-game series against the Seattle Mariners.
The Rangers, who have lost six consecutive games, will be back in action at 8:40 p.m. ET to play the Colorado Rockies. DraftKings Sportsbook has the run total set at 9.5, which is the highest total on the board. The game will be at Coors Field, which has been a stadium that historically gives up a lot of runs.
This could be a great spot for the Rangers to snap their win streak, but this is a better spot to play a Rockies team stack. Colorado will be going up against Dane Dunning, who is 2-4 with an ERA of 4.75 through 10 starts. The 26-year-old has struggled on the road, with a 0-3 record and 7.97 ERA in five outings this season. Right-handed hitters are hitting well off of Dunning, slashing .291/.345/.427 with 4 HRs and 18 RBI.
Twins vs. Orioles, 7:05 p.m. ET
Nelson Cruz ($4,700)
Josh Donaldson ($4,500)
Andrelton Simmons ($2,100)
We have another favorable matchup on Tuesday’s main slate between the Minnesota Twins and Baltimore Orioles. DraftKings Sportsbook currently has the run total set at 9. The Twins is the better team stack option as they face Orioles starter Bruce Zimmermann. This season, the rookie pitcher is 2-3 with a 5.15 ERA through eight starts.
In four games at home, the 26-year-old is 1-2 with 4.43 ERA and has allowed 6 HRs. Both right and left-handed hitters are seeing the ball well against Zimmermann, slugging .293 and .361. Minnesota SS Andrelton Simmons is a cheap value play for this stack as he has recorded a hit in five out of his last seven games. He’s also hitting .273/.385/.364 against left-handed pitchers this season.
Rays vs. Yankees, 7:05 p.m. ET
Randy Arozarena ($6,000)
Joey Wendle ($5,400)
Austin Meadows ($5,200)
To wrap up our team stacks for Tuesday’s main slate, we are going to look at the Tampa Bay Rays, who are playing the New York Yankees at 7:05 p.m. ET. The Rays defeated New York 3-1 on Memorial, extending their winning streak to five games.
The Rays will look to continue their winning ways against Yankees starter Domingo German, who is 4-3 with an ERA of 3.06 in nine starts this season. The 28-year-old has not fared well on the mound at home this season, with a 0-2 record and 4.50 ERA. Left-handed hitters are slashing .253/.293/.402 with 7 home runs. Rays OF Austin Meadows is a must-play in this team stack as he’s hitting .500 with 3 HRs and 4 RBI against German.
