The momentum has shifted over toward the Phoenix Suns after their victory on Sunday to even their series with the Los Angeles Lakers at two games apiece. Los Angeles appears likely to be without one of their stars with Anthony Davis doubtful with a groin strain that was suffered in Game 4.
Phoenix is a home favorite heading into this one, and they have a relatively healthy roster, which is crucial at this point in the season. In addition to Davis likely being out, the Lakers could be without Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who sat out of Game 4 with a knee injury.

If Davis is unlikely to go, it would obviously be devastating to not only the Lakers’ chances at pulling off a victory in Game 5 but the series as well. We have seen LeBron James carry plenty of franchises in the postseason throughout his career, but it’s unlikely to happen in Game 5. The Lakers are just 3-6 against the spread in their last nine games, and we’re going with the more healthy Suns in this spot on Tuesday night.
Player Prop: Dennis Schroder O16.5 points (+100)
Schroder was averaging 19 points per game before busting in Game 4 by scoring 8 points on 3-of-13 shooting. He has to be the second option now that Davis has been ruled out though, and he’s the only active player aside from James who’s averaging more than 12 points per game. This is as close as it gets to a must-win game for the Lakers. Schroder’s two 20-point outings in this series show that he can get to 17 with ease on an average shooting night.
