Tale of the Tape for Paul Craig vs. Jamahal Hill

In a light heavyweight bout on the main card for UFC 263, Paul Craig will take on Jamahal Hill Saturday night live from Glendale, AZ and available on ESPN+ PPV.

The 33-year-old Craig enters the octagon with a professional fighting record of 14-4-1, and is ranked 14th in light heavyweight class. The Scottish fighter last competed at UFC 255 in November 2020, defeating Mauricio Rua by TKO in Round 2.

“Bearjew” Craig will look to win on Saturday night using both striking and grappling skills. He averages 2.4 strikes per minute, with an accuracy of 49%. But the veteran fighter only absorbs 2.43 strikes per minute, and defends against them at 49%. When it comes to grappling, the 33-year-old has a 2.11 takedown average per 15 minutes and 26% takedown accuracy. He also possesses a 1.46 submission average per 15 minutes and 55% takedown defense.

As for Hill, he walks into Saturday’s main card with a perfect professional fighting record of 8-0 (1 NC). He is currently ranked 15th in the light heavyweight division. “Sweet Dreams” last fought in December at UFC on ESPN 19, where he defeated Ovince St. Preux by TKO in Round 2.

The 30-year-old mixed martial artist is strictly a striker, who lands 7.9 significant strikes per minute with 52% accuracy. He also absorbs more strikes than his opponent at 3.15 per minute and defends against them at 49%. Hill has four KO/TKO and four decision wins in his professional career.
