Full undercard for Youtubers vs. TikTokers ‘boxing’ event

If you’ve ever wanted to see YouTube and TikTok personalities beat the crap out of each other, Saturday is going to be right up your alley. Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens is hosting “Social Gloves: Battle of the Platforms” featuring notable personalities from the world of YouTube and TikTok.

And there’s money to be made, as featured attraction Bryce Hall says he’s making $5 million on this bout, plus a cut of the PPV revenue, and another $1 million if he knocks out his opponent Austin McBroom. You can watch their highly-staged shoving match at a pre-fight press conference melee here:

As someone turning 42 in August, I cannot guarantee that anything I say about this event will be accurate. All I know is so-called “influencers” are taking to boxing in a big way in the wake of Jake Paul and Logan Paul’s forays into the sweet science.

And one of the Youtube combatants tonight, AnEsonGib, actually helped start this trend by losing to Jake Paul in January of 2020 after they fought to a draw the first time.
