How to watch Islanders vs. Lightning Game 1 on TV and via live stream

The Stanley Cup Playoffs are nearing an end and the Tampa Bay Lightning will host the New York Islanders Game 1 of a Stanley Cup semifinals matchup on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. to wrap up the weekend.

The game will air on NBC and is available for live stream at NBCSports.com/live if you have a cable log-in. if you don’t have a cable login, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

The two sides had very different second-round experiences but are four wins from reaching the championship series. New York split its first four games against the Boston Bruins in the second round before winning games 5 and 6 to advance. Peaking at the right time made all the difference for the Islanders, as they rose to the occasion for their closeout game and secured won by a series-high 4 goals last Wednesday.

Tampa Bay won two straight games against the Carolina Hurricanes before dropping Game 3. The Lightning then wrapped up the round by securing a 2-0 victory in Game 5. Nikita Kucherov is the engine that makes Tampa Bay go and leads all players in points with 18. his productivity is a big reason the Lightning are favored to come out on top.
