Monday night’s battle between the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Washington Nationals probably won’t be appointment viewing for anybody unless they’re fans of these respective teams.

But still, if you do want to put a few bucks on this one we’ll give you the low down on who to take on the moneyline as well as a player prop that has a good chance to hit.

Pirates vs. Nationals, 7:05 p.m. ET, ESPN+

Moneyline pick: Nationals -124

This matchup features two of the worst teams in baseball, as both of them sit in the basement of their divisions. Pittsburgh has lost seven of the last 10 while the Nationals have lost six over the same span. In fact, the Pirates are on a seven-game skid coming into this one but the Nats have won two of their last three.

Washington will start Jon Lester, who has four straight no-decisions. Still, he’s only allowed four earned runs over that span, which is pretty solid. In Pirates starter JT Brubaker’s last four appearances he’s allowed 15 earned runs, so he’s in a bit of a funk.

Player Prop: TBD
