Euro 2020 action continues Monday as Groups D and E conclude their opening matches. Scotland will make a much-anticipated entrance after making the Euro for the first time since 1996. Poland’s Robert Lewandowski will headline the afternoon contest while Spain’s talented but inexperienced group will attempt to make their mark against Sweden.

Here’s how the public is approaching Monday’s Euro 2020 action.

June 14 betting splits

Scotland vs. Czech Republic

Scotland (+185): 45% handle, 31% bets
Tie (+200): 15% handle, 33% bets
Czech Republic (+205): 39% handle, 36% bets

This is a relatively even split across all three results in terms of bets. Scotland might be getting a boost from emotional fans who feel Czech Republic is a winnable game. Most of the bets are going for a tie, but Czech Republic is getting the most total money. This will be a close contest.

Poland vs. Slovakia

Poland (-130): 91% handle, 87% bets
Tie (+235): 3% handle, 9% bets
Slovakia (+460): 6% handle, 4% bets

Not many bettors are giving Slovakia a chance in this one. Lewandowski leads an experienced Poland group into Euro 2020 looking to make the knockout round. This match will set the tone for the unit’s campaign.

Spain vs. Sweden

Spain (-278): 85% handle, 89% bets
Tie (+390): 5% handle, 5% bets
Sweden (+850): 10% handle, 6% bets

This isn’t your father’s Spain team famous for its “tiki-taka” style, but the roster is still extremely talented and favored to win Group E. Ferran Torres and Alvaro Morata are two names in particular to watch. Most of the public is leaning Spain in this game, but Sweden has the experience to keep things tight.
