The New York Yankees and Toronto Blue Jays will begin a three-game series at 7:07 p.m. ET. Jordan Montgomery will be on the mound for the Yankees, while the Jays will give the ball to Hyun Jin Ryu. We’ll go over some ideal picks on DraftKings Sportsbook centered around the game here.

Yankees vs. Blue Jays, 7:07 p.m. ET

Moneyline pick: Blue Jays -121

The New York Yankees need a win in the worst way after dropping a two-game set against the Philadelphia Phillies over the weekend, giving them a three-game losing streak. New York has been outscored by an average of 3.3 runs and producing 4 runs per game at the plate. However, their pitching has not been greatest as not been as advertised with a 7.00 ERA over that time.

New York will hope their fortunes will change with Jordan Montgomery on the bump. The 28-year-old has been the Yankees’ second-best pitcher behind Gerrit Cole this season. He has a 3-1 record and 3.99 ERA in 12 starts. However, Montgomery’s ERA balloons to 5.52 on the road this season. But the good news for New York is that they have a record of 2-1 in Montgomery’s last three road starts.

It’s going to be tough to hold down a Blue Jays’ offense that is averaging 5.58 runs per game at home this season. If Toronto can jump out to an early lead, that should bode well for Ryu. The Blue Jays’ ace is 5-4 with a 3.34 ERA in 12 starts this season. But he has pitched well at home (Dunedin/Buffalo) with a 2.77 ERA and opponent batting average of .240. This will be the third time he’s facing the Yankees this season. In two starts, Ryu has a 1.50 ERA and limiting New York to a .186 batting average at the plate.

Player Prop: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. over 0.5 RBI (+127)

Vlad Jr. has been one of the hottest players in baseball with a .346 average, a league-leading 22 HRs, and 56 RBI. He has a hit a home run in four consecutive games, totaling 8 RBI. In nine games against the Yankees, Guerrero is hitting .367/.472/.600 with 2 HRs and 4 RBI.
