Odds to win 2021 College World Series in Omaha with bracket set

The eight teams looking to win the national championship get started on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.

The field for the 2021 College World Series is set. Two ACC, two Big 12, two Pac-12, and two SEC teams are off to Omaha to determine the national champion of college baseball for 2021.

The No. 1 overall Arkansas Razorbacks were shocked off their field by the NC State Wolfpack, who are the biggest underdog at the CWS. But the Wolfpack showed they can mash the ball in Fayetteville last weekend, and seem to be peaking at the right time.

The No. 4 Vanderbilt Commodores are the favorites, and their 1-2 punch of starting right handers Jack Leiter and Kumar Rocker are both projected to be Top 10 picks in the upcoming MLB Draft at worst. The duo has combined to throw 311 strikeouts and 77 walks this season, and MLB is already full of Hawkins Field alumni.

But the top-ranked team remaining are the No. 2 Texas Longhorns, who have yet to drop a game in the 2021 postseason at 5-0. They knocked off the South Florida Bulls 4-3 and 12-4 in a brutally hot Austin to reach the College World Series for a record 37th time.
