ESPN will host Thursday’s NBA playoff matchup between the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks with tip set for 8:30 p.m. ET. The game will take place at the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

The Brooklyn Nets took a lead in the series thanks to Kevin Durant’s epic performance in Game 5 logging a triple-double with 49 points, 17 rebounds, and 10 assists while playing all 48 minutes of the game. Jeff Green came off the bench to add 27 points while James Harden’s return to the lineup only saw him notch five points through 46 minutes played. Harden went 1-of-10 from the field, missing all eight of his attempts from beyond the arc. In the end, the Nets were able to overcome a 17-point deficit in the second half and hang on for a 114-108 win. Joe Harris and James Harden will need to step up their game if the Nets want to close this out in Game 6, as nobody should be expecting KD to have to put in another massive performance like he did in Game 5.
The Milwaukee Bucks, although blowing a 17-point lead in Game 5, have history on their side tonight as every game in this series has been won by the home team. Giannis Antetokounmpo has scored at least 33 points in all but one game of this round, and with the series on the line in front of his home crowd, we can expect another solid performance from the big man. He hasn’t been alone this series though, of course, as Khris Middleton has put in some good performances including 35 points and 15 rebounds in Game 3, while Jrue Holiday has logged double-digit points in all games except one. If the Bucks want to force a Game 7, they’ll have to find a way to stop Kevin Durant and his supporting cast, especially if James Harden puts in a better performance at Fiserv Forum tonight.
