Qualifying for the Tennessee Lottery 250 begins this afternoon, with 42 drivers going out to fill 36 spots at the Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tennessee.
The race will take place afterwards, starting at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 19th. The main drive will be 188 laps for 250 miles on the concrete on a track where the drivers might not have a ton of experience.
Also to keep in mind is the weather, which might see this race cut short later this afternoon. There is cloud cover all over the track right now, and the heat and sun peaking through will be a big factor in both qualifying and for the race. There is a small chance of rain, but it seems unlikely as of now.
It’s no surprise that Kyle Busch took the pole, and he clocked in a time of 30.42 seconds. Austin Cindric had plenty of speed as well, with a time of 30.556 at 156.696 MPH to be on the outside of Row 1. Jade Buford takes over the inside of Row 2 with a time of 30.807. That moves Noah Gregson to the outside of Row 2 with a time of 30.867.
Here are the full qualifying results for Saturday’s 2021 Tennessee Lottery 250. The drivers with lines through their names and times did not qualify for the race because they didn’t finish in the Top 31 on time, or have an exemption to make the field.
