This weekend, we get a heavy dose of boxing, and arguably the most high profile will take place in Guadalajara, Mexico. It’s probably not going to be the best boxing, but a card featuring Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. and Julio Cesar Chavez Sr. is going to draw some eyeballs.

Chavez Jr. is facing MMA legend Anderson Silva in a light heavyweight boxing match. Chavez Sr. is facing Hector Camacho, Jr. — the son of JCC Sr.’s one-time rival — in an exhibition bout. This is not about the future of boxing, but rather joins in the recent revival of nostalgia and cross-sport bouts. The card will also feature Canelo Alvarez’s brother and his nephew fighting in a pair of fights down what is a lengthy card.

It’s not entirely clear which JCC will be fighting in the main event. Chavez Jr. vs. Silva makes the most sense, but JCC Sr. is a living legend in Mexico, so it would not be at all surprising to see the latter end up fighting the final bout of the night.

Coverage for the main card starts at 9 p.m. ET at Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara, Mexico. DAZN projects JCC Jr-Silva ring walks to begin around 11:30 p.m. ET depending on the length of the undercard. If JCC Sr. gets the main event spot, then ring walks for his son’s fight would probably start 45 minutes to an hour earlier.
