The New York Yankees are making a habit of turning triple plays and they recorded their third one of the season to close out the Oakland Athletics 2-1 Sunday. Check out the play here.

The Yankees had a triple play three days ago against the Toronto Blue Jays, where they were assisted by some poor baserunning from Marcus Semien and Bo Bichette.
New York’s play against the Athletics was more standard, similar to the team’s first triple play of the season against the Chicago White Sox. That occurred May 21 to get Aroldis Chapman out of a jam in the ninth inning of a 2-1 New York win.
The Yankees move to 38-33 on the season with the victory and are now five games back in the AL East. New York was expected to be one of the best teams in the league this season, but struggled with slumping hitters and injury issues early.
The Yankees are +325 to win the division behind the Tampa Bay Rays and Boston Red Sox, but they are listed ahead of both teams in AL pennant futures according to DraftKings Sportsbook. New York is fifth to win the AL at +600 and eighth to win the title at +1400.
