The Oakland Athletics start a four-game series with the Texas Rangers as part of a full week on the road. The A’s send Frankie Montas to the mound while the Rangers will rely on Kyle Gibson. This is the first time the two teams are meeting this year.

Moneyline pick: Athletics (-127)

The A’s are in a tight race with the Houston Astros for the AL West division, while the Rangers are one of the worst teams in baseball. Oakland is 13-4 in the month of June and should stay hot against a bad Texas team.

Player Prop: Matt Olson to hit a home run (+250)

Olson has quietly popped 20 long balls this year and is starting to heat up with the bat for the Athletics. He’s got seven home runs in the month, including two in the last three games. Gibson has been good for the Rangers, but Olson offers good value with this prop bet.
