Breaking down opening lines for Sunday’s Cup Series Race at Pocono

We go over the opening odds for this Sunday’s Cup Series Race at Pocono.

NASCAR is headed to the Poconos for a doubleheader this weekend. The race formerly known as the Pocono Organics 325 opens on Saturday and the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 follows on Sunday.

The former race is officially titled the NASCAR Cup Series Race at Pocono this year. The race will run on Saturday, June 26th at Pocono Raceway and air on NBC Sports Network. One driver seems poised to run away with the checkered flag, but a slew of others could challenge him. Let’s take a look at the top contenders at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Kyle Larson is the odds-on favorite at (+215), and his recent hot streak has helped him close in on points leader Denny Hamlin (+750) in the points race. He’s won his last four races and leads all Cup Series drivers with four wins on the year. Kyle Busch (+800), William Byron (+900), Chase Elliott (+1000), and Kevin Harvick (+1000) round out the group of drivers with top-five odds. Harvick won the last Cup Series race at Pocono in 2020, while Kyle Busch has won the last two Pocono 400s.
