Clippers vs. Suns DraftKings Free $5K pool picks for Game 2

We go over each category and give predictions for DraftKings pool for Game 2 of the Clippers-Suns series in the Western Conference Finals.

Will Los Angeles take Game 2 against Phoenix?

The Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns meet in Game 2 with the home team holding a 1-0 lead. Kawhi Leonard and Chris Paul remain out for their respective teams, but Devin Booker is showing he is capable of handling the role of a lead guard. Paul George will try to take his game to another level to help the Clippers even the series.

Below is a look at a number of predictions ahead of Tuesday’s game for the Free $5K DraftKings Pools - Playoff Edition (LAC-PHX).

Clippers vs. Suns Game 2 pool picks

Which team will cover the spread? Clippers +5.5 or Suns -5.5

The Suns made a late run to separate themselves from the Clippers, but Los Angeles did make things interesting late prior to Phoenix icing the game with free throws. The role players continue to step up for LA, but the home team is the better bet to cover here.

How many total points will be scored? Over/under 224.5

The over hit in Game 1 and both teams continue to let things slide defensively. The Suns tightened up enough late in the game, but both offenses are in a groove. Take the over again.

Which team will reach 30 points first?

The Clippers should come out with more energy, but the Suns are playing with the underdog tag and know they’ll need to keep the pressure up. This type of bet is always tough to gauge, but the home team is the safer choice here.

Which team will make more 3-pointers?

Despite losing the game, the Clippers hit 20 threes in Game 1. They know they have to rely on a host of characters with Leonard out and most of them are capable from behind the arc. Los Angeles continues to be the better pick here despite Booker and Mikal Bridges being strong shooters for Phoenix.

Which player will have more points and rebounds? Nicolas Batum or Deandre Ayton

Ayton is a force in the paint and the Clippers have no great answer for him, especially if they keep playing small ball. Batum combined for 15 points and rebounds in Game 1 while Ayton tallied 29. Take the Suns big man here.

Paul George points, rebounds and assists? Over/under 45.5

George hit 43 combined points, rebounds and assists in Game 1 and will once again be expected to put up big numbers. This is a tough line, but the over is always in play given the forward’s ability to score. George should haul in more rebounds in Game 2 as well.

Devin Booker points, rebounds and assists? Over/under 43.5

Booker broke out with a triple-double in Game 1 as Paul was sidelined. Expect him to handle lead guard duties again as Paul remains in health and safety protocols. The rebounding numbers might not be there again, but Booker is capable of putting up 44 points and assists so any boards can be considered a bonus. Take the over here.

Which team will win the 4th quarter?

The Suns closed the game hard in the first contest, eventually winning 120-114. With the home crowd behind them, expect the group to once again finish things off well. LA has made a habit of going down 2-0 in series and there’s no indication that won’t be the case again after Tuesday. Take the Suns to win the final quarter.
