Update — Morris is starting for the Clippers. It looks like everything checked out in pregame warmups.

The Los Angeles Clippers might be shorthanded in a crucial Game 2 against the Phoenix Suns.

Head coach Tyronn Lue says forward Marcus Morris is a game-time decision in the contest and will go through warmups before a final call is made. Morris is averaging 11.8 points and 4.2 rebounds per game in the postseason but his most crucial ability is hitting 37 percent of his triples in the playoffs.

The Clippers have had tremendous success playing small and Morris is a big part of that. In the last five playoff games, the forward is shooting 47.4 percent from behind the arc but struggled in Game 1. He went 0-5 from deep in 21 minutes.

If Morris can’t go, expect Paul George and Nicolas Batum to take additional shots as a result. Terance Mann has been starting as part of Los Angeles’ new rotation and will also see some more shot attempts. Luke Kennard might take over in Morris’ place if the forward is ultimately ruled out.
