We have a full 16-game schedule in the majors Friday, which means there are still multiple opportunities to come away with a win in DraftKings baseball DFS. The main slate has 13 games starting at 7:07 p.m. ET.
Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.
Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Friday, June 25th.
Orioles vs. Blue Jays, 7:07 p.m. ET
Bo Bichette ($6,100)
Teoscar Hernandez ($4,700)
Randal Grichuk ($4,300)
Something that I am continuously learning in MLB DFS is that it’s okay to go back to the same team in consecutive games. That doesn’t mean you play the same players in your stack. If the matchup is favorable, why not keep hammering away with the same team? That is what we’re going to do with the Blue Jays, who face Matt Harvey for the second time in a week.
Harvey hasn’t pitched well this season with a skyrocketing 7.80 ERA. However, it doesn’t get better for him on the road as he’s 2-4 with an ERA of 8.51 in seven starts. Outside of the top sluggers for the Jays, Teoscar Hernandez is a great option for this stack. The 28-year-old has an eight-game hitting streak, averaging 11.87 fantasy points per game.
Yankees vs. Red Sox, 7:10 p.m. ET
Giancarlo Stanton ($5,300)
DJ LeMahieu ($4,400)
Luke Voit ($4,400)
The Yankees’ offense has woken up in their last five games, producing 5.6 runs per game (all at home). They’ll try to duplicate this effort at Fenway Park on Friday night against their AL East rival — the Boston Red Sox. New York will be going up against Martin Perez, who hasn’t pitched well at home this season (6.68 ERA in eight starts).
Right-handed bats are also having more success than lefties against the southpaw, which makes sense; righties are hitting .267/.342/.419 with 8 HRs and 26 RBI. Giancarlo Stanton has good numbers against Perez in his career with a .429 average, 2 HRs, and 3 RBI. DJ LeMahieu is starting to heat up for Yankees, recording a hit in seven consecutive games.
Diamondbacks vs. Padres, 10:10 p.m. ET
Fernando Tatis Jr. ($6,400)
Manny Machado ($5,000)
Jake Cronenworth ($4,800)
The San Diego Padres are absolutely cooking and mashing everything in sight as they’ve won seven consecutive game. The Pads will look to make it eight wins against the worst team in baseball — the Arizona Diamondbacks. San Diego will be facing Corbin Martin, who is making his third starts this season, but it will be his fifth appearance. Martin has a record of 0-2 and 8.46 ERA.
Anytime you put together a Padres stack, you need to have either Tatis or Machado somewhere in your lineup. But we aren’t going to focus on those two guys because we know what they bring to the table. The attention needs to be on Cronenworth, who has a nine-game hitting streak and has hit a home run in four out of his last five games. In his last nine games, the 2020 Rookie of the Year finalist is averaging 14.33 fantasy points per game.
