This weekend brings a battle of undefeated fighters in the junior welterweight division in a fight Bad Left Hook ranks the best of June. Mario Barrios puts WBA title and 26-0 record on the line against 24-0 Gervonta Davis. The fight is taking place Saturday, June 26 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta and the main card is scheduled to start at 9 p.m. ET.
The fight is set to air on Showtime pay-per-view for $74.99. Once you’ve purchased access to the fight, you can stream the fight on any of their available apps with a subscription, using Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, iOS or Android.
Barrios has spent a good chunk of his career at junior welterweight, while Davis is moving into the weight class for the first time in his career. This is Barrios’ second defense of the WBA title and he’s coming off an October 2020 sixth-round TKO win over Ryan Karl. Davis is coming off a sixth-round KO of Léo Santa Cruz in which he defended his lightweight title and won a super featherweight title.
In spite of the lack of experience at junior welterweight, Davis is a heavy favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook. He is installed at -500 while Barrios is +320.
