The NASCAR Cup Series is back in action this week with a special double-header event at the Pocono Raceway. The second race of this weekend’s series is set for Sunday, June 27th with the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 at Pocono Raceway and will air on NBC Sports. You can watch a live stream here on the NBC Sports site or via the NBC Sports App.
The green flag drops at 3:30 p.m. ET and the race is likely to finish in under three hours. The race is 140 laps, which is equal to 350 miles, and ran 2:50:54 last year. 2020 marked the first year the race has run that length, having previously run 160 laps the previous eight years when there wasn’t a weather-induced shortening.
Chris Buescher will be on the pole for this race, with Michael McDowell joining him on the front row. The starting lineup for the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350 is based off an inversion of the results of Saturday’s Pocono Organics CBS 325. The top 20 finishers of that race are inverted for the top 20 positions in Sunday’s race. Positions 21 to the end are based on order of finish from Saturday’s race.
