Kyle Busch is on track to earn a spot in the NASCAR playoff race this fall, and he further cemented his spot on Sunday at the Explore the Pocono Mountains 350. Busch won a clear victory over the red-hot Kyle Larson, beating the current projected playoff leader by 8.654 seconds. Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, and Bubba Wallace rounded out the top five.

Busch won the race thanks to a strong performance with his fuel. Denny Hamlin and William Byron both had a shot at this, but a little fuel mismanagement cost them in the end. Byron took a lead and then had to pit for fuel, which resulted in a 12th place finish. Hamlin took over the lead but also had to put and finished the race in 14th place.

Busch entered the race at +600 odds to win at DraftKings Sportsbook. Kyle Larson was the favorite at +225. 39% of total handle and 17% of bets were on Larson, but Busch was second with 12% of handle and 11% of bets.

Hamlin comes out of the Pocono doubleheader with a four-point lead in total points, but Kyle Larson remains the leader in a projected playoff field.
