Most popular player prop bets for Clippers-Suns Game 5

Here are the five player props bettors like for Game 5 of the Western conference finals.

Will DeAndre Ayton have another huge game on the boards?

The Los Angeles Clippers and Phoenix Suns meet in Game 5 of the Western conference finals with the home team looking to make the NBA Finals for the first time since 1992-93. The Clippers have come close to winning in each of their three losses, but need a victory here to keep their season alive.

Here are the five player prop bets on DraftKings Sportsbook the public is favoring for Monday’s game.

Chris Paul over 17.5 points scored (-143)

Paul has been great in the series since missing the first two games due to COVID protocols, but this line might be a bit high. Devin Booker and Deandre Ayton are the primary scorers for Phoenix and Paul is more of a distributor than a scorer at this point in his career. He’s averaging 16.5 points per game in the series and is unlikely to have a big scoring night given his role.

Deandre Ayton to record a double-double (+100)

Ayton is averaging 20.3 points and 13.5 rebounds per game in the conference finals, so it’s surprising to see this prop at + odds. The Phoenix big man will be heavily involved in Game 5, so this wager has a good chance to pay off.

Paul George over 2.5 3-pointers (-186)

George is struggling from behind the arc in the series, only hitting 27.9 percent of his attempts from deep. He is taking 10.8 threes per game, so volume favors bettors here. George only needs to hit three for this prop to pay off, so this isn’t a bad wager.

Deandre Ayton over 17.5 points scored (+105)

This is another surprisingly line given Ayton’s average points per game in the series. The Clippers have had no answer for the Suns center and he looks poised to deliver another solid performance. This bet should pay off for those taking it.

Deandre Ayton over 29.5 points, rebounds and assists (-118)

Phoenix’s big man is having a great postseason. If bettors are taking Ayton to score more than 17.5 points and to get a double-double, then this bet also makes a lot of sense. If Ayton doesn’t have a good game, there will be a lot of unhappy people who likely took multiple player props involving the Suns center.
