CBS Sports Network and Univision will host Thursday’s Concacaf Nation’s League semifinal matchup between Honduras and the United States with kick-off set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game will take place at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. For those who are unable to catch the match on TV, you can stream it on Paramount+ or TUDN.
The USA boasts a plus-12 goal differential ahead of this semifinal matchup and is bursting from the seams with young talent that's looking to excel on the international stage. Christian Pulisic is the main attraction for Americans, and while his status is not certain for the semifinals Sergino Dest, Weston McKennie, Gio Reyna, and Josh Sargent are also making names for themselves in Europe. The USA’s upstarts have enough skill to blow by Honduras, but lack of experience could hinder them.
Honduras will have to lean on its veterans to limit goal-scoring opportunities in this game. Scoring eight goals and only allowing opposing teams to score once paved this Central American squad a path to the semifinals. Replicating that success against a team that’s far better than Trinidad and Tobago or Martinique will be tough, but Mayor Figueroa, Boniek Garcia will try to keep the game organized and close. The duo has combined to tally 291 international caps.
