What are the Nets odds to win the NBA Championship heading into second round?

We go over the odds on DraftKings Sportsbook for the Brooklyn Nets to win it all in the 2021 NBA Playoffs as we head into the second round of the NBA playoffs.

Round two of the NBA playoffs have arrived and as the field whittles down, we draw one step closer to anointing a new champion. Like for round one, we’ll be breaking down DraftKings Sportsbook championship odds for each team as the postseason continues.

The No. 2 seed Brooklyn Nets finally came together as a healthy, functioning unit in round-one by pulling off a gentlemen’s sweep of the Boston Celtics in five games. Kevin Durant looked like his pre-Achilles tear self by averaging 32.6 points on 54.6 percent shooting through five games while James Harden offered up a double-double average and Kyrie Irving excelled in the face of a mid-series controversy surrounding Celtic fans.

This proverbial “superteam” will now be tasked with their toughest challenge to date when going toe-to-toe with Giannis Antetokounmpo and the rolling Milwaukee Bucks.

Brooklyn Nets odds to win NBA championship, Jun. 3: +170

Brooklyn is still the odds-on favorite to win the NBA title according to DraftKings Sportsbook and with good reason. Their trio of stars are finally healthy and playing at an elite level offensively while guys like Joe Harris are chipping into the offensive onlsaught.

What will test their championship aspirations is a series like the one about to tip off against Milwaukee where they’ll be forced to match their opponent’s defensive intensity over the course of a seven-game series. If they can overcome the challenge of Antetokounmpo, Middleton, Holiday, and company, then they’ll continue to sit pretty as the odds-on betting favorite to hoist the Larry O’Brien trophy later this summer.
