NASCAR’s Xfinity Series is headed to Ohio this weekend for a road race separate from the Cup Series. The top circuit will be in Sonoma, also running a road race. The junior circuit will be running the B&L Transport 170 at Mid-Ohio race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The race will air on FS1 at 1 p.m. ET and be available via live stream at FOX.com/live and through the Bally Sports app.
This is the third road course the Xfinity Series has run this season. Ty Gibbs won the Super Start Batteries 188 at the Daytona Road Course in February and Kyle Busch won the Pit Boss 250 at Circuit of the Americas in Austin two weeks ago.
Busch will not be racing this week at the Mid-Ohio race, but Gibbs will be racing for his second road course win this season. Gibbs is sitting on the front row and is tied with A.J. Allmendinger for the second best odds to win the race at DraftKings Sportsbook, installed at +350. Austin Cindric is atop the odds leaderboard at +165. Cindric has the pole position for the race and is the defending champ from 2019. The race was not run in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
