The Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks meet in the second round with both units looking like bona fide title contenders. Kevin Durant and Giannis Antetokounmpo headline two trios who match up well with each other. In a series featuring two high-powered offenses, whichever team can play better defense will likely win the series.
Bucks vs. Nets, 7:30 p.m. ET, TNT
Pick ATS: Nets -4 (-112)
The Bucks were aided in the first round by Miami’s lackluster offensive setup, but will receive no such favors from the Nets. Kevin Durant looks like the superstar he was prior to his Achilles injury and James Harden has fit well in Brooklyn’s offense. Look for Joe Harris to have a big game as the Bucks try to key in on Brooklyn’s stars. Take the home team here.
Player Prop: Joe Harris over 2.5 3-pointers (-177)
Harris shot 51.5 percent from behind the arc in Brooklyn’s first-round series win over the Celtics. He averaged 6.6 attempts per game, the bulk of those coming in Game 2. Durant, Harden and Irving are going to get a bulk of the shot attempts, but the Bucks will attempt to defend those three players heavily. Harris should get a lot of looks and his efficiency means he doesn’t need too many attempts for this bet to hit.
