The long-awaited special exhibition bout between Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul is set to begin on Sunday, taking place at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida. The main card starts at 8 p.m. ET and Mayweather and Paul are expected to enter the ring at around 10 p.m. ET but that depends on the length of the other bouts.
The event is airing on Showtime PPV in the US and Sky Sports Box Office in the United Kingdom. If you can’t watch the fight on TV, you have the option to live stream the PPV event at Showtime.com or any of the Showtime apps, available on most TV & Streaming devices. The PPV pricing is set at $49.99. Fanmio.com is also airing the fight on pay-per-view at the price of $49.99. If you purchase access to the PPV event with Fanmio, it comes with a free limited edition t-shirt.
The fight is often a little bit delayed on live streams, but usually, it’s only between 30 and 60 seconds behind the TV broadcast. That can impact you if you’re on Twitter during the fight, but otherwise, it’s an easy option.
The fight is an exhibition with non-traditional rules, which has resulted in legal sportsbooks not taking bets on the fight. The rules for the fight include the following:
- Eight rounds, three minutes each
- No judges scoring the bout
- The referee can stop the contest at any time
- 12-ounce gloves will be used
- No headgear for either fighter
- No winner will be declared
- Logan Paul has agreed to weigh in at 190 lbs. or less, will be fined $100,000 for every pound over that limit (he weighed in at 189.5 pounds)
Although DraftKings Sportsbook won’t be taking wagers, they’ve put together some hypothetical odds for entertainment value.
