After a seven-game frenzy with the Mavericks, the Clippers now meet the No. 1 seed Jazz in the second round. Kawhi Leonard is the best player on the floor, but can Paul George take over when Leonard hits the bench? The Clippers appeared to fix their issues at times against Dallas, but also failed to contain Luka Doncic.
The Jazz are well rested and healthy, pending Mike Conley’s hamstring strain. They have yet to lose a playoff game this season when at full strength, so this team is no fluke. Donovan Mitchell has arrived as a star and Utah has enough depth to make plays around him. The Jazz are defensively superior to the Mavs, meaning the Clippers will have to work a lot harder for points.
