DraftKings provided a list of every player to play in a match after the 2018 World Cup and how that player performed. We’ve trimmed that list down to look at the top 10 DFS performances in non-friendlies for each team. Here’s which players feature most often for each squad in Group E.
Spain
Ferran Torres, 2 appearances - The Manchester City winger is highly talented and is expected to really break out at Euro 2021. This is his chance to take center stage after being stuck behind loads of talent at the club level. Torres is a strong play in DFS.
Gerard Moreno, 2 appearances - Moreno has been a prolific scorer at Villarreal, but only has 10 caps for Spain. This will be his chance to show his attacking skills on a big stage. He’s a strong pick in DFS lineups, but be wary of his lack of international production.
Also in top 10: Pablo Sarabia, Alvaro Morata, Thiago, Thiago Alcantara, Fabian Ruiz, Jordi Alba
Poland
Robert Lewandowski, 6 appearances - The Bayern Munich legend is the star of Poland’s squad and is a sure bet to score. He’s going to be a regular in DFS setups and likely comes at a high price point, but the results speak for themselves. Lewandowski is a great DFS play.
Also in top 10: Kamil Jozwiak, Arkadiusz Milik, Grzegorz Krychowiak, Piotr Zielinski
Sweden
Robin Quaison, 2 appearances - Quaison has 31 goals in 123 appearances at Mainz, but nine goals in 25 games for Sweden. That’s a far better clip for DFS players thinking of adding value options to their lineup.
Emil Forsberg, 2 appearances - Forsberg brings a wealth of international experience as well as high-level production at the club level from RB Leipzig to Euro 2021. He’ll be tasked with coordinating Sweden’s attack from the midfield and could rack up the fantasy points quickly if things click.
Also in top 10: Sebastian Larsson, Alexander Isak, Mattias Svanberg, Viktor Claesson, Marcus Berg, Mikael Lustig
Slovakia
Marek Hamsik, 4 appearances - Hamsik is an experienced striker with 126 caps for Slovakia and did most of his scoring damage in a 12-year run with Napoli in Serie A. He’ll be counted on to score goals for Slovakia and will be widely available in DFS lineups.
Juraj Kucka, 3 appearances - Kucka is another experienced attacker for Slovakia with 82 caps. Unlike Hamsik, Kucka’s scoring run started recently with 17 goals in 70 matches for Parma since 2019. He’s a sneaky DFS option for those looking to add low-cost players.
Also in top 10: Stanislav Lobotka, Milan Skriniar, Robert Mak
