Best plus-money NBA player props for Wednesday, June 9th

We go over some of the best prop bet options at DraftKings Sportsbook ahead of Wednesday’s Nuggets-Suns matchup.

Game 2 of the second-round series between the Phoenix Suns and Denver Nuggets is the only NBA matchup on tap for Wednesday, so basketball bettors will have to get all their action from the same place. The prop bet market won’t be as vast as usual, but a few stand out ahead of tip-off at 9:30 p.m. ET. Here are a few that you should consider placing at DraftKings Sportsbook.

Michael Porter Jr. O19.5 points (-107)

MPJ was one of several Nuggets who struggled from the field in Game 1, but the second-year wing has scored more than 20 points in 62.5% of his games since Jamal Murray suffered a season-ending knee injury in April. His regular-season efficiency has carried over to the playoffs, as he’s shooting 52.6% from the field and 40.8% from three on more than 13 shots per game. Don’t count on an offense as explosive as Denver’s having just one 20-point scorer two games in a row.

Note: Porter is questionable to play due to lower back tightness.

Deandre Ayton O10.5 rebounds (+104)

Ayton fell just short of this mark in Game 1 with 10 board and is averaging 10.5 rebounds per game in the playoffs so far. If you remove the final two games of the first round, when he combined for 16 points and 10 rebounds in 59 minutes, his rebounding average jumps to 12.8 boards. Ayton’s four double-doubles in seven playoff appearances show that he’s taking a leap, and his double-double line (-134) should give you plenty to feel good about.

Monte Morris O4.5 assists (+105)

Morris was an abysmal 1-for-10 from the floor in 23 minutes and posted a team-worst -28 plus-minus, but still managed to dish out six assists. He was outpaced by Facundo Campazzo and Austin Rivers in minutes for the first time in two games because of his poor shooting. Morris was on brand when it came to protecting the ball and didn’t record a turnover. Playmaking will be important against the Suns’ sturdy defense, and Morris has tallied at least five dimes off the bench in three straight games.
