The 2021 NBA Finals shifts to Milwaukee as the home team looks to bounce back after losing both games in Phoenix. The Milwaukee Bucks face a must-win situation in Game 3 while the Phoenix Suns can take one more step towards clinching the franchise’s first championship.

The Bucks have had their moments in Games 1 and 2, but couldn’t quite seem to hold things together in crucial situations. Milwaukee ultimately got crushed on defense by Phoenix’s midrange shooters, while Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton struggled offensively. This is a desperate team that will eventually start shooting better. The defense might not improve, but the offense should come around. The Bucks are the pick here.
Over/Under: Over 222
Both games have gone over this total, although Game 1 barely went over and Game 2 needed some late offensive heroics from both squads. There’s been no evidence to suggest a correction is coming for Phoenix’s offense or Milwaukee’s defense over the course of a game. Take the over until both teams prove the line wrong.
Moneyline: Bucks -177, Suns +145
Giannis Antetokounmpo did all he could with 42 points in Game 2, but it was the supporting cast that failed him. The Suns have been excellent from midrange with Chris Paul and Devin Booker consistently knocking down shots. The Bucks will eventually slow them down enough to curtail some of Phoenix’s offensive output while Middleton and Holiday get right with their shots. Milwaukee is the home team and has to win to stay alive in the series. Take the Bucks here.
