The NASCAR Cup Series is back in action on Sunday, July 11th with the Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The race starts at 3:30 p.m. ET and will air on NBC Sports. You can watch a live stream on NBCSports.com/live or through the NBC Sports app.

This is the second Cup Series race in Atlanta this season, but it is the first time the 400 mile has been run here. A 500-mile spring race was run in Atlanta until 2010. It relocated to Kentucky as a 400-mile race for the past ten years before returning to Atlanta as a 400-mile race.

The 400 miles comes across 260 laps. In ten years at Kentucky Speedway, the Quaker State 400 ran as fast as 2:39:43 and as slow as 3:06:55. Last year, the race went 2:59:49. It’s a different track this year, but it’s close enough to give us a handle on the length.
