Gold Cup continues play on Tuesday as Group D — the fourth and final group — begins play with their first two games of the tournament. First-time attendees Qatar will open their campaign against Panama while Honduras will face off against Grenada. This group isn’t as clear cut as some of the others with Qatar slightly favored to win the group at +125 at DraftKings Sportsbook, but Honduras (+175) and Panama (+200) aren’t far behind. Any one of them are capable of ending up on top when the group stage ends.

This one’s not a surprise in the least. Honduras is heavily favored to come out on top in this contest, and it really won’t be surprising if it ends up 10-0 after 90 minutes. The Hondurans recently finished third in the CONCACAF Nations League after narrowly edging out Costa Rica in penalties. They’ve got some lethal scorers in their attack including Alberth Elis, who played in MLS for the Houston Dynamo before being sent to Boavista in Portugal’s Primeira Liga. Elis has 11 goals through 46 appearances for Honduras, just five behind Saul Martinez who’s the 10th top scorer in Honduran history. Grenada isn’t expected to escape the group stage, much less do much damage against the other three teams in Group D, so Honduras will be the clear winner in this contest.
