Nine MLB games will take place with 18 games in action on Thursday, July 22nd. One game will get started in the afternoon with the following eight games on the slate happening throughout the night. Those eight are in the DraftKings main slate.

Sometimes with a plus-matchup on the MLB game slate, we get an opportunity to slot multiple players from the same team into our DFS lineups. You can learn more about MLB DFS strategy, including team stacks, here.

Here, we’ll break down three of the best team stacks for the MLB slate on Thursday, July 22nd.

Angels vs. Twins, 8:10 p.m. ET

Nelson Cruz ($5,500)
Josh Donaldson ($5,000)
Jorge Polanco ($4,700)

The Minnesota Twins are 17 games back in their own division, but it’s not because of their offense, which ranks No. 12 in the MLB in runs scored. Their lineup has a fantastic matchup on Thursday night with Los Angeles Angels starter Andrew Heaney on the mound. Through 16 starts, he has a 5.56 ERA and allowed at least three earned runs in each of his last five starts, none of which lasted longer than six innings.

Braves vs. Phillies, 7:05 p.m. ET

Freddie Freeman ($5,500)
Dansby Swanson ($4,800)
Austin Riley ($4,400)

The Atlanta Braves have the highest scoring offense in the NL East, and they should be aggressive at the plate on Thursday night for an offense that has held its own since Ronald Acuna Jr. tore his ACL right before the All-Star Break. This lineup will see Philadelphia Phillies starter Matt Moore. He is on his fourth team in four years and has a 5.25 ERA in 13 appearances including seven starts. This figures to be more of a bullpen game for the Phillies as Moore has gone longer than 4.1 innings just once this season.

Yankees vs. Red Sox, 7:10 p.m. ET

DJ LeMahieu ($4,800)
Gary Sanchez ($4,800)
Giancarlo Stanton ($4,300)

The highest run total on DraftKings Sportsbook is Thursday night’s New York Yankees vs. Boston Red Sox game. Boston will start Tanner Houck on the mound, and he will enter with seven career games played in the majors over the last two seasons. He made one appearance since early April, and he threw three scoreless innings last week. The Yankees should have more success against him in their second matchup against him.
