The Independence Day weekend will be fairly light, but we do get one title on the line. Chris Colbert will put his WBA interim junior lightweight championship on the line this Saturday, July 3rd against Tugstsogt Nyambayar in Carson, California. The main card gets going at 9 p.m. ET and will air on Showtime.

Since the fight will be available to watch with a standard Showtime subscription, that also means you can stream the fight on any of their available apps using Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, iOS or Android. If you don’t yet have a Showtime subscription, you’re in luck, as they’re currently offering a free 30-day trial.

This fight has come together at the last minute due to an injury. Colbert was scheduled to face Yuriorkis Gamboa but Gamboa suffered a rib injury and had to withdraw a little over a week ago. Nyambayar is primarily a featherweight fighter but was willing to move up a weight class on short notice.

Colbert is 15-0 and coming off an 11th round TKO of Jaime Arboleda last December in his first title defense. Nyambayar is 12-1 and coming off a split decision win over Cobia Breedy last December. Prior to that he had suffered his first defeat in a fight for the WBC featherweight title.
