Knockout round action continues in Copa America 2021 with Uruguay and Colombia facing off in the early game with Argentina and Ecuador meeting in the primetime slot. Here’s how the public is wagering on both games.

July 3 betting splits

Uruguay vs. Colombia

Uruguay (+128): 59% handle, 69% bets
Tie (+205): 10% handle, 14% bets
Colombia (+250): 30% handle, 17% bets

Uruguay is favored to win this match and the public is following that line, with 59 percent of the money and 69 percent of the bets coming in on La Celeste. Colombia has fallen off from its dominant run in the early 2010s, but is capable of springing a surprise here.

Argentina vs. Ecuador

Argentina (-230): 86% handle, 89% bets
Tie (+325): 2% handle, 6% bets
Ecuador (+700): 12% handle, 4% bets

It’s hard to bet against Lionel Messi in any competition, but especially on the international level in Copa America. The public is backing the superstar with 89 percent of bets coming in on Argentina. Ecuador is a huge underdog at +700 and bettors are largely staying away from them.
