Xander Schauffele is likely to be in the last group of Round 3 of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics men’s golf event.
While 16 of the 60 golfers have yet to complete play due to weather, Schauffele at -11 holds a one-shot lead over Carlos Ortiz of Mexico who has also completed his round. Mito Pereira, Alex Noren, and Sepp Straka are also in the clubhouse at -8, with home nation favorite Hideki Matsuyama also at -8, but with two holes to play.
Round 2 should begin to finish up about 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday evening, which is 7:00 a.m. Saturday in Tokyo. Round 3 of Men’s Individual Stroke Play at the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics will get underway immediately afterwards, and since this is a no-cut event all 60 golfers will get right back on the course. You can stream the round at NBCOlympics.com
We’ll add a full list of tee times for Round 3 of Men’s Individual Stroke Play at the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics once they’re available this evening.
