How the public is betting Peru vs. Brazil Copa America semifinal

Copa America 2021 has reached the semifinal stage with hosts Brazil taking on Peru in a rematch of the 2019 Copa America final. Brazil cruised through the group stage before edging Chile 1-0 in the quarterfinal round, while Peru had a dramatic finish in penalty kicks against Paraguay after being tied 3-3 at the end of extra time.

As expected, Brazil is the massive favorite in this match. The hosts and reigning Copa America champions are getting 86 percent of wagers and 66 percent of the money on the contest. Peru is surprisingly receiving a decent amount of money with 29 percent of the handle coming its way, but only 10 percent of the public is backing the underdogs at +1250.
