The Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks look to kick off the Finals right with Game 1 in Phoenix. The Suns will be hoping to set the tone with a home win while the Bucks hope to steal home-court advantage in the series.
Note: These lines are updated through 1:19 p.m. ET on DraftKings Sportsbook.
Update: Giannis Antetokounmpo (knee) will play in Game 1 of the Finals vs. the Suns, per multiple reports.
Suns vs. Bucks odds, 9 p.m. ET, ABC
Spread: Suns -6.5
The Suns have been excellent at home in the playoffs, winning six out of eight contests in Phoenix. Devin Booker, Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton have been able to get a couple extra days of rest in and will be ready to go. The Bucks have Antetokounmpo in, but it’s unclear how mobile he will be.
Over/Under: 219
Both teams are solid offensively but also have a sound defensive structure. The teams are combining to average 218.7 points per game in the postseason. Take the over here.
Moneyline: Suns -265, Bucks +215
Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are capable of being stars, but neither can match Antetokounmpo’s ability. It’s a good thing the Bucks have him back for Game 1. The Suns have been a machine at home and in the playoffs in general. They’re healthy, rested and ready. Take Phoenix to start this series off with a win.
