The Championships at Wimbledon have reached the semifinal round and the women’s bracket will determine its finalists on Thursday, July 8. The top two seeds advanced, but we have a couple modest upsets filling out half the final four bracket.

No. 1 seed Ashleigh Barty rolled over countrymate Ajla Tomljanović with a 6-1, 6-3 victory. Since losing the second set of her first round win over Carla Suárez Navarro, Barty has not dropped a set.

She will face off against No. 25 seed Angelique Kerber. The German rolled over No. 19 seed Karolína Muchová in straight sets, winning 6-2, 6-3 to advance to the semifinals. Barty is installed at DraftKings Sportsbook as a -240 favorite to win the semifinal match while Kerber is a +190 underdog.

On the other side of the bracket, No. 2 seed Aryna Sabalenka will meet No. 8 seed Karolína Plíšková to fill out the finals. Sabalenka beat No. 21 seed Ons Jabeur in straight sets while Plíšková beat unseeded Viktorija Golubic in straight sets as well. Sabalenka is a -215 favorite to win while Plíšková is a +170 underdog.

Heading into the semifinals, Barty is installed at +165 to win the whole tournament. Sabalenka is next at +240 and closely followed by Kerber at +280. Plíšková has the worst remaining odds at +500.
