The Championships at Wimbledon has reached the penultimate round. The women’s and men’s semifinals are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, leading into the finals this weekend in London. All four semifinal matches will air on ESPN and ESPN Deportes.
The women’s semifinals are scheduled for Thursday and will open with No. 1 seed Ashleigh Barty facing off against No. 25 seed Angelique Kerber. They will face off on Center Court at 8:30 a.m. Barty lost a set in her first round match, but has not lost a set since and Kerber will be only the second seeded opponent she’s faced in the tournament. Kerber has twice gone to three sets and most notably upset No. 20 seed Coco Gauff in the fourth round.
