After missing out on the All-Star Game festivities last year due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic, they’re back this summer at Coors Field. On Monday night, the 2021 Home Run Derby will take place with a star-studded field that has the best sluggers from the American and National League taking on each other.

Shohei Ohtani (Los Angeles Angels), Joey Gallo (Texas Rangers), Matt Olson (Oakland Athletics), Salvador Perez (Kansas City Royals), and Trey Mancini (Baltimore Orioles) will represent the American League in Denver. Meanwhile, the National League will have three participants in Pete Alonso (New York Mets), Juan Soto (Washington Nationals), and Trevor Story (Colorado Rockies).

Ohtani, who enters Thursday leading the majors with 32 home runs, is the No. 1 seed in the derby and has the best odds to win it at +400, according to DraftKings Sportsbook. Ohtani will be competing against Soto (8th seed) in the first round. If the two-way superstar gets past Soto, then he will face the winner of Perez (4th seed) and Alonso (5th seed). Perez’s odds to win the derby are +700, while Alonso’s odds to win are +525.

Alonso won the derby back in 2019, when he defeated Vladimir Guerrero Jr. in the final round. Then on the other side of the bracket, Gallo, who is the No. 2 seed has the second-best odds to win it +450 odds. The Rangers’ power-hitting outfielder has been on fire at the plate, hitting .239 with 23 HRs in 82 games.

Gallo will face the No. 7 seed Trevor Story, who will have the hometown crowd behind him at Coors Field. Story has +800 odds to win the derby, but if anybody can pull the upset its him as he knows how Coors Field plays. Then in the other first round matchup, Olson (3rd seed) will face off against Trey Mancini (6th seed), which could honestly go either way. The Orioles first baseman is a long shot to win the derby +1000, but has showcased his power this season with 15 HRs in 83 games.

2021 MLB HR Derby odds

Shohei Ohtani +400
Joey Gallo +450
Pete Alonso +525
Matt Olson +580
Salvador Perez +700
Juan Soto +750
Trevor Story +800
Trey Mancini +1000
