Gold Cup 2021 action ends Sunday when USA and Mexico meet in the final, as many expected when the tournament began. The match will be televised on FS1 and begin at 8:30 p.m. ET. If you are not in front of a television, FOX.com/live and the Bally Sports app will live stream the match. You’ll need a cable subscription to access both. If you don’t have one, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the match.

The USMNT last won the Gold Cup title in 2017 when it beat Jamaica 2-1 thanks to a game-winning goal from Jordan Morris in the 89th minute. Mexico grabbed the next championship in 2019 with a 1-0 win over USA, with the lone goal coming from LA Galaxy star Jonathan Dos Santos. The Americans look to reclaim the title this year against Mexico as the two sides meet again, though it took some narrow wins for the USMNT to make it here. The Americans won all three of their group stage matches with a pair of 1-0 victories over Haiti and Canada while they thumped Martinique 6-1. They then sneaked past Jamaica 1-0 in the quarterfinals with an 83rd-minute goal from Matthew Hoppe, followed by yet another 1-0 win over Qatar in the semifinals with an 86th-minute goal from Gyasi Zardes.

Mexico has been solid throughout the tournament, making a case for why it should win its second straight Gold Cup title. El Tri logged one draw in the group stage — a surprising 0-0 result against Trinidad & Tobago — but then took out Guatemala 3-0 and beat El Salvador with a 1-0 final thanks to a first-half goal from Luis Alfonso Rodriguez. In the knockout round, Mexico easily cruised past Honduras with a 3-0 win, while ending a 2-1 thriller against Canada with a game-winning goal from Hector Herrera in the ninth minute of stoppage time in the semifinal to go to the final.
